Dental

Dental health is an important part of physical wellness, so keep your smile healthy with loanDepot’s comprehensive dental plan through United Healthcare. With the Dental PPO Plan, you have the flexibility to choose any dentist and receive benefits. However, if you use a network dentist, that provider has agreed to charge lower, negotiated rates, so you’ll end up paying less.

Please note: United Healthcare Dental provides one coverage card per family. It will only show the employee’s name on the card, but all dependents are still covered, as long as coverage was elected.

You can also create an account on the United Healthcare website to find a dentist, review your claims and find coverage information. Go to www.myuhc.com and follow the prompts to create your account if you haven’t already for your Medical coverage.

See the full plan summary for more details.

* Network fees are fees that participating network dentists have agreed to accept as payment. These fees are subject to any applicable copays, deductibles and other costs.

** R&C refers to the reasonable and customary charge, which is based on the lowest of either a dentist’s actual charge, the dentist’s usual charge for the same or similar services, or the charge of most dentists in the same geographic area for the same or similar services as determined by the carrier.

Make the Most of Your Coverage!

Focus on Prevention: Make sure you get your check-ups and cleanings regularly! These services are covered at 100% when you use in-network providers, and can prevent the need for costly dental work later.

Use In-Network Providers: The PPO allows you to see any dentist, but when you use an in-network provider, you will pay less for your dental services.

Use Pre-Tax Dollars: If you participate in either the Health Care Flexible Spending Account or the Health Savings Account, you can use your pre-tax funds in these accounts to pay for your eligible dental expenses, including orthodontia.

Online Resources: Go to myuhc.com to create a user account, print an ID card, track claims, or find a provider.
